Tour Itinerary
Day 1 Monday FSU Campus Alfred Maclay Gardens Welcome to Tallahassee. After arrival around noon you will meet our tour guide at FSU stadium campus for a delicious lunch there. Right after lunch you will walk around FSU Stadium for a private tour. In the afternoon we will explore Alfred B. Maclay Gardens, called a "masterpiece of floral architecture." Check in to the hotel for your 3 night Tallahassee adventure in mid afternoon and time to relax in the hotel. Dinner in local restaurant. (Welcome Lunch, Dinner) Day 2 Tuesday New Capitol Building and Historic Capitol Florida Supreme Court Mission San Luis After breakfast we will depart for the New Capitol Building and Historic Capitol of Tallahassee then Florida Supreme Court. We will visit Florida's Capitol Complex that includes a 22-story executive tower with domed House and Senate chambers, you will be able to view the city from 22nd floor. Our next stop was restored to its 1902-version in 1982. The Historic Capitol building space includes the Governor's Suite, Supreme Court, House of Representatives and Senate chambers, rotunda and halls. Florida Supreme Court tour brings the history of the Court alive, as you will learn fascinating facts about the Supreme Court. After lunch we will continue Tours of Tallahassee with a departure for Mission St Luis, where you will get to explore houses and other items from the Apalachee-Spanish living history museum. Arrive in the hotel by mid afternoon for a relaxing evening and dinner. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner) Day 3 Wednesday City Tour of Tallahassee Governor’s Mansion Goodwood Museum Free time after lunch (optional stop to Market Square) After breakfast we will board the bus for a 1.5 hour tour of the city exploring the beauty, amazing scenery and its historical sites. After a city tour we will visit the Florida Governor’s House -The People House, where a piece of Florida's history serves as a reminder of our state's past and as a home to those crafting our state's future. Our next stop will be the Goodwood Museum and Gardens where we will tour the Main House, built circa 1840. The collections and furnishings are all original to the house. We will have lunch in a charming restaurant on site at Fanny’s Garden Café. After lunch we will depart for the hotel with an optional stop in the Market Square, where you can explore local stores, restaurants and shop in Lofty Pursuits the top dessert place in town. Free time and free time in the hotel till around 7pm, when our Tour of Tallahassee will depart for a Farewell Dinner. (Breakfast, Lunch, Farewell Dinner) Day 4 Thursday Museum of Florida History Tallahassee Automobile Museum After breakfast and check out from the hotel we will visit the Museum of Florida History, the place that collects, preserves, exhibits and interprets evidence of past, present cultures in Florida and promotes knowledge and appreciation of this heritage. We will finish our Tour of Tallahassee by visiting the Tallahassee Automobile Museum with over 130 automobiles and other large variety of collections. Lunch before leaving town and heading back home. (Breakfast, Lunch)
